Request:

I am completing some research into taxi fleets across the UK and would be very grateful for your assistance in answering the following questions.

1)    For the Hackney Carriages / taxis that you licence, which manufacturers and models are currently approved by you?

2)    Could you please send me a copy of your “Conditions of Fitness” requirements for your Hackney Carriage / taxi vehicles.

3)    Could you advise the total Hackney Carriage / taxi fleet size in your jurisdiction and the number of vehicles of each type (per manufacturer and model)?

4)    What is the age limit for Hackney Carriages / taxis vehicles that your licence?

5)    Is there a maximum age limit that a Hackney Carriage / taxi vehicle can be for it to be licensed with you for the first time? E.g.
If your maximum age limit is 15 years, can a vehicle only be licensed with you for the first time up to e.g. 10 years old but not after that time? Or any other such rules?

6)    Is there a cap on the number of Hackney Carriage / taxi vehicle licences issued by you?

7)    Or is there a cap on the number of Hackney Carriage / taxi driver licenses issued by you?

8)    What is the size of the private hire vehicle fleet licensed by you?

9)    Is there a cap on the number of private hire vehicles or private hire vehicle drivers licensed by you?
