1.    How many new homes were completed in your authority in the financial year 2023/24? 
2.    How many residential development applications received planning permission in the financial year 2023/24? 
3.    How many residential development applications were rejected planning permission in the financial year 2023/24? 
4.    How many households were on your housing register on 1 April 2023, and how many are on your housing register as of 1 April 2024? 
5.    What percentage of residential development planning applications were decided on-time in the financial year 2023/24.

Response: 

1. The monitoring work to determine the number of new homes that were built in Thurrock in the 2023/24 is underway but has not yet been completed. It is anticipated that this will be published in June on the Council’s website at: Housing completions | Planning policy monitoring | Thurrock Council
