Thurrock Enterprise Week arrives this June, offering 5 days of exciting engagement events, networking opportunities, panel discussions and more for local businesses.
Taking place from Monday 12 June to Friday 16 June 2023, the week will bring together businesses, experts and services to inspire entrepreneurship and promote growth by exploring a number of different themes. These will include how local businesses can strengthen and grow, assess carbon reduction options and access opportunities to access public sector contracts.
The event will also provide updates on Thurrock's major regeneration projects.
Cllr Mark Coxshall, Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Growth, said: "Now in its second year, Thurrock Enterprise Week 2023 – which is part funded by the UK Government through the UK shared Prosperity Fund – will once again bring together businesses of all sizes, supporting them to innovate and make a positive contribution to and benefit from economic growth in Thurrock.
"With business leaders discussing these topics, and considering how they can evolve and grow further, they will be able to understand the skills they need to get there and access the support they need to make this a reality.
"Our young people remain very much a focus of the week, with a day dedicated to inspiring and supporting our budding young entrepreneurs, as we nurture those with an interest in or passion for business."
The full Thurrock Enterprise Week agenda of virtual and in-person events, including details of how to sign up to each, will be shared on Thurrock Council's website in due course.
