Panto season arrives in Thurrock this December with a hilarious edition of Beauty and the Beast, starring Thurrock's favourite Dame, Luke Coldham as Dame Dolly Doughnut.
Tickets are now on sale for showings from 2 December 2022 through to 8 January 2023 and start from just £9 per person. The original show is suitable for residents of all ages, with an autism friendly, relaxed performance available for those wishing to enjoy a calmer experience.
Cllr Qaisar Abbas, Cabinet Member for Culture and Communities, said: "Panto season is always one of the most popular times of year for our theatre, and it's great to see 'Beauty and the Beast' back on stage to entertain audiences of all ages.
"For those looking for extra hilarity, a special 'Prank Performance' for over 16s will take to the stage from 5 January to 8 January 2023. This features a performance filled with pranks, surprises and dares where the audience can influence the story – and the mayhem – as it unfolds.
"I hope everyone continues to enjoy the shows available at Thameside Theatre, with tickets available for an exciting range of events and performances through to July next year."
