Residents will be able to enjoy arts, entertainment and music at the Thameside Theatre which is booking acts all the way up to the end of December 2025.
The Thameside Theatre is part of the Thameside Complex at the heart of Grays and provides a wide range of opportunities for diverse communities to come together and experience inclusive and exciting productions, events, learning and celebrations.
Deputy Leader of Thurrock Council, Cllr Lynn Worrall said: "We are delighted to be able to continue programming for the Thameside Theatre until the end of 2025.
"The Theatre plays a key role in Thurrock's provision of arts, culture and heritage. Since 1 April this year, the Thameside Theatre has hosted 54 performances and attracted over 10,000 visitors.
"It’s fantastic to see that the Thameside will be able to help to continue to enrich the lives of our residents, both as audience members and participants.
"This support for the Thameside means Thurrock's residents can access well-priced theatrical entertainment, and our local theatre groups have the opportunity to take to the stage and showcase their talents."
