Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Aveley and Uplands No3 - No Waiting At Any Time (Park Lane, Elm Road, Dacre Avenue, Purfleet Road)
1 )Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).
2)The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following locations: -
- Park Lane, on both sides from the northern kerb line from its junction with B1335, in a northerly direction for 125m.
- Elm Road, on the northern side from the western kerb line of Dacre Avenue, in a westerly direction for 11.5m
- Dacre Avenue on the western side from the northern kerb line of Elm Road, in a northerly direction for 10m
- Dacre Avenue, on the eastern side from the common boundary wall of no28/26, in a northerly direction to the common boundary wall of no30/32
- Purfleet Road, on the southern side from the common boundary wall of no49/51, in a south-westerly direction to the common boundary wall of no53/55
3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via [email protected]. 4) Any support/objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to [email protected] to arrive on or before 7th November 2024. Any comments may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
