Public notice

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 5th December 2024, the order will come in to force on the 9th January 2025.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following locations: -

1. 1. 1. Park Lane, on both sides from the northern kerb line from its junction with B1335, in a northerly direction for 125m.
      2. Elm Road, on the northern side from the western kerb line of Dacre Avenue, in a westerly direction for 11.5m
      3. Dacre Avenue on the western side from the northern kerb line of Elm Road, in a northerly direction for 10m.
      4. Dacre Avenue, on the eastern side from the common boundary wall of no28/26, in a northerly direction to the common boundary wall of no30/32
      5. Purfleet Road, on the southern side from the common boundary wall of no49/51, in a south-westerly  direction to the common boundary wall of no53/55

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. 4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
