Public notice

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 33, 35, 45 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).

2) The general effect of the Order would be to:

1. Revoke Electric Vehicle Charging Places at the following location; -

1. On the north-eastern side Derby Road Bridge, Grays. (12 Bays)

2. Implement “Payment Parking (Tariff Code PP2) Mon-Sat 9am-6pm max stay 4hrs no return within 1hr” at the following location; -

1. On the north-eastern side Derby Road Bridge, Grays. (12 Bays)

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via [email protected]. 4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to [email protected] to arrive on or before 21st November 2024. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
