Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Lucas Road, Grays
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 7h November 2024, the order will come in to force on the 5th December 2024.
2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following location(s):-

- On the western side of Lucas Road from a point 6.5m north of the property boundary wall of No. 1/2 Attlee Court Road following the kerb line in a northerly then westerly direction for a distance of 25.5m.
- On the western side of Lucas Road from the rear property wall of No. 5/6 Attlee Court following the kerb line in a southerly and then westerly direction for a distance of 27m.
- On the eastern side of Lucas Road from a point opposite the rear property wall of No. 5/6 Attlee Court following the kerb line in a southerly direction for a distance of 27.5m.
3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Delivery Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices
4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
