Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Mary Rose Close, Chafford Hundred
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 19th December 2024, the order will come in to force on the 27th January 2025.
2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following location(s);-

- At the junction outside 56 to 58 and 3 to 5 Mary Rose Close
- At the junction outside and opposite 16 Mary Rose Close
- At the junction opposite 18 and 44 Mary Rose Close
- At the junction opposite 46 to 51 Mary Rose Close
- At the junction opposite 54 and 55 Mary Rose Close

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively they can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via [email protected]. 4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
