Public notice

1) The Borough Council of Thurrock gives notice that under Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers, it is considering a proposal to install a Zebra Crossing on a raised table in Hogg Lane/London Road, Grays in the position specified below:

1. 1. The raised table will start approximately 9m west of the common boundary of 48 and 50 Steeple View, London Road and continue in a north westly direction to a point 11m south of the northern boundary wall of 50 Steeple View, London Road. The raised pedestrian crossing will replace the existing pedestrian crossing in situ.

2) The raised table would cover the full width of the road from kerb to kerb and a maximum height of 75 millimetres.

3) Copies of the plans detailing the proposals can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via [email protected]. 4) Any person wishing to comment on the proposals should do so in writing to the address above or by e-mail to [email protected] by no later than 19th January 2025
