Essex Compass is a partnership of domestic abuse services that respond to victims across Essex. Contact Essex Compass if you don't live in Thurrock, or you are supporting someone outside of Thurrock
The following organisations provide a range of support for people affected by domestic abuse.
For all victims of domestic abuse:

Changing Pathways – provides emergency accommodation (women only), help, advice, and a drop-in centre offering counselling and support for survivors and their children suffering domestic abuse

South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre (SERICC) – a registered charity based in Thurrock offering free and confidential specialist sexual violence and abuse counselling, independent sexual violence advocacy and support to adults, young people and children and their families who have been affected by rape or sexual abuse, no matter how long ago the experience may have been

Oakwood Place – Offers free support and practical help to anyone in Essex who has experienced sexual violence and/or sexual abuse.

Essex Victims' Gateway – information and advice on what to do and how to get help if you have been a victim of domestic violence in Thurrock, Southend or Essex

Refuge 24-hour national domestic abuse helpline – free phone support with online information and signposting

National Women's Aid – offers live chat and email support, and keeps an up-to-date list of all refuge accommodation across the county

National Centre for Domestic Violence – provides help with getting an injunction

Victim Support – offers free confidential support to anyone, whether or not the crime has been reported to the police, and has a drop-in service in Thurrock

Jewish Women's Aid – an organisation run by Jewish women for Jewish women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse

Southall Black Sisters – provides information, advice, advocacy, practical help, counselling and support to Asian and African-Caribbean women and children (including male children) experiencing domestic abuse and sexual abuse, including marriage and honour crimes

For lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT+) victims of domestic abuse:

For victims of domestic abuse who have disabilities:
