Appeal, reply or request a revisit
You can ask for your business to be reassessed or appeal against a rating if you think it is unfair or wrong.
Appeal
Talk to the food safety officer that inspected your business about why the rating was given. You can then appeal if you think the rating is wrong.

Request a revisit
After improving hygiene standards, you can ask for a revisit to inspect your food business before the next planned inspection. Speaking with us again is a good way to find out if you can get a new and higher food hygiene rating.
