Complaints we might reject
Complaints about a councillor’s policies or political performance will be sent to the councillor and their political group
We might reject the following complaints:
- complaints about our services, policies or performance
- complaints about a councillor’s policies or political performance
- complaints about another council
- vexatious or frivolous complaints
- minor or 'tit-for-tat' complaints
- complaints about events more than 3 months before you first knew about them
- complaints from a councillor about other councillors
- complaints from council officers
- complaints other internal or external processes are already looking into
