You should shop around to compare prices and look for the best quality and value. Ask for advice before purchasing expensive items of equipment or home adaptations.
Equipment that designed or adapted for people with disabilities may be exempt from VAT. You should ask your supplier about this.
We cannot:
- pay you back for any equipment or home adaptation you arrange privately
- be responsible for repairing, servicing or replacing any equipment that you bought privately
