Modern slavery

Support is available for those affected by modern slavery.

You can find or receive support through the following organisations:

• Thurrock Safeguarding Adults Board: modern slavery – referrals, guidance, support and training

• Modern Slavery Helpline – a helpline for victims of trafficking who need assistance

• Stop the Traffik – supporting communities to know what trafficking is, how to identify it, how to respond, and how to protect themselves and others from trafficking

• Unseen – charity that disrupts and challenges human trafficking at all levels

• NSPCC Child Trafficking – information and support relating to children or young people who may have been trafficked into the UK
