Strategies and policies
There are local, national and international strategies to end violence against women and girls.
Thurrock strategies
Our current updated strategy on domestic abuse and violence against women and girls can be downloaded below.
Our protocol for homeless victims and survivors of violence in Thurrock was produced jointly with Changing Pathways and South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre (SERICC).
Together with Essex County Council and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, we are members of the Southend, Essex and Thurrock Domestic Abuse Board (SETDAB). To read the board's current strategy, go to SETDAB: Southend, Essex and Thurrock Domestic Abuse Board Strategy 2020-2025.
